Summertime at Hostaria Fratelli

In summer, we serve summery dishes with raw seafood (shock-frozen!), such as Gambero Rosso from Mazzaro del Valle, or scampi, salmon and tuna. For meat lovers we have, for example, tartare of Tuscan beef fillet or various carpaccio.

Our dishes are combined with seasonal vegetables and various fine mushrooms such as king oyster mushrooms, porcini mushrooms and chanterelles. Various sorbets and seasonal fruit round off the menu.

Enjoying the black summer truffle

The summer truffle (Tuber aestivum Vitt) has a delicate scent of hazelnuts, the forest and mushrooms. It has a mild flavour and develops a pleasant nutty aroma.
